Is Queen Elizabeth II an icon?

I'm working on a English Oral exposition about Her Majesty the Queen of the UK, and I have to explain why she is an icon and why? I've already written she's an icon in Politics thanks to the Commonwealth and the monarchy she governs and that she's a fashion Icon according to Vanity Fair since the date of her coronation, But, what do you think? Can she be an icon in other fields? According to me, she can be an icon because she embodies the sense of BRITISH and the sense of family. Do you have any other idea? If yes, please give also a reason, i need it in order to make my exposition as long as possible! Thank you so much!!!
