Why has the U.S. been so sucesssful in bringing democracy with no post invasion American deaths in Kurdestan?

And why have the Sunnis and Shiites made such a mess when they could have the same peace and prosperity as the Kurds ??The Kurds are Muslim but not Arabs-is there something in the Arab tribal culture that is ingrained with violence ?
