Fallout New Vegas: Which tribes should i get to help me?

I'm going independent (kind of, I'm doing Yes Man stuff) and Yes Man tells you to get a few tribes to help you out. I got the Boomers to help me out already. what else should I get. I heard the Brotherhood of Steel are good but I heard it's a really hard quest to get them. I also heard the Great Khans are good but I'm Vilified by them. I heard the White Glove Society is easy but they don't do much and I haven't heard much about the Omerta's.
